Mike was part of the 2016 gold medal winning World Championship team that walked away with the title in Christchurch 2016.

He went on to secure gold in the triples and fours at the Asia Pacific Champs as well as the Eight Nations pairs and four in 2017.

Born in Adelaide, Michael grew up on Waiheke Island from a very young age. He now resides in Sydney.
