Glasgow was Mandy's first Commonwealth Games where she won bronze as part of the women's fours.

She has a strong history in lawn bowls winning gold in the 2016 Six nations women's fours, silver in the women's triples and was part of the winning 2017 Trans Tasman team. She was awarded the National Gold Star in 2016 for winning five national titles. She was a silver medallist at World Bowls in 2012.

She is from Napier and lives in Christchurch.

An artist and pre-school teacher as well as elite bowls athlete she heads to the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games as the mother of a baby daughter.
