Cyclist Linda Villumsen is a triple Commonwealth Games medallist.

Villumsen won a medal at each Commonwealth Games she competed in. She took gold at Glasgow 2014 and bronze at Delhi 2010 and Gold Coast 2018, all three in the road time trial. Villumsen rode also at the London and Rio Olympic Games, placing 4th and 6th in the individual time trial respectively.

The 2015 World Champion had been on the podium for six straight years in the time trial at the world championships culminating in the victory at Richmond, USA.

A Danish-born moved to New Zealand in 2008 after first coming on a school exchange, she became a New Zealand citizen in 2009.
