The Rio 2016 Olympic Games was Kerri's first Olympic Games.
Kerri was part of the silver medal winning eight that qualified the boat for Rio at the 2015 World Rowing Championships. Along with her medal in the eight Kerri also teamed up with Grace Prendergast to win silver in the women's coxless pair. She was also part of the New Zealand women's four that won gold and set a world best time at the 2014 World Rowing Championships.
Kerri was born in Raetihi and began her rowing career at Nga Tawa Diocesan in 2009.
She is a member of the Aramoho Wanganui Rowing Club.
Outside of rowing Kerri enjoys equestrian, show jumping and getting back to the family sheep and beef farm.
