Kensa Randle

Dunedin based, 15-year-old Kensa will be representing New Zealand in Flatwater and Slalom K1 events at the 2014 Summer Youth Olympic Games. Kensa is currently a student of Te Kura Correspondence School, which means she studies at home. She lists her hobbies as kayaking, netball, basketball, adventure racing, design and travelling. She is a member of the Canoe Slalom Bay of Plenty Club and the Central Otago White Water Club. Kensa started competing in 2010 and her sporting highlights so far have been the 2014 Junior Championships and the U23 World Championships. Her role models are Luuka Jones, Jess Fox, Lisa Carrington, Suzy Cumming and Beyoncé.
