Karen Li

Glasgow was the fourth Commonwealth Games for Karen after she represented New Zealand at the Commonwealth Games in 2002, 2006 and 2010. Karen placed 3^rd in the Women's teams and 2^nd in the Women's doubles at the 2002 Games in Manchester. In 2006 she placed 4^th in the doubles with team mate Annie Yang and 5^th in the team's event in 2010. Karen has also represented New Zealand at two Olympic Games: Sydney in 2000 and Athens in 2004.  Recently Karen and her respective team had a lot of success as overall winners at the 2014 Zen-noh World Table Tennis Championships in Tokyo, Japan. Karen is a right-handed shake hand attacker/counter attacker. Karen has recently returned back to the sport after the birth of her son.
