Kalyn Takitimu-Cook

A Year 13 student at Manukura, Takitimu-Cook credits former Black Fern Janna Vaughan as introducing her to rugby and mentoring her through her development. Niall Williams is her favourite player and her involvement in the New Zealand Under 17 team that won the World Schools title in 2017 is her career highlight.

"Kalyn has worked hard to put herself in a position to be picked in the 12 and this is a credit to her character and perseverance.  Kalyn is dedicated to rugby and this is evident in her progression as a player as her core skills continue to improve."
