Kahurangi Robinson

Rotorua based, 17-year-old Kahurangi will be representing New Zealand in Beach Volleyball at the 2014 Summer Youth Olympic Games. Kahurangi attends Western Heights High School and started competing in year 10. He says that his sporting highlight has been the trials for the Youth Olympics in Thailand. Kahurangi's role model is Maia Westrupp and his favourite quote is, “I accept failure, everybody fails at something, but what I don't accept is not trying.”
