Jimmy is a 16-year-old student of Macleans College that will be competing in Golf at the Buenos Aires 2018 Olympic Youth Games.

Career highlight: Winning the New Zealand Under 19 Championship after having been 2 shots back before the last round. I played really well and shot 66 7under to win by 2 shots.

How did you get into your sport? Dad introduced me into the sport after he went out with some friends and played his first ever round of golf.

What do you love about the sport? The competitive atmosphere and the ability to connect with people from different parts of the world.

What inspires you? Spending many hours training everyday and seeing the improvement inspires me to keep going. Also the growing competition inspires me to work harder and become better.
