Hinemoa Watene

Watene plays her rugby for Howick College and College Rifles Rugby Club. It is at the central Auckland club that Watene credits her rugby development, the Year 13 won a senior Auckland title with the club in 2018. Watene was named most valuable player at the Oceania Qualifying tournament.

"Hinemoa is never too far away from the action with her support and reading the play and has the ability to put players around her in space. She is a player that gets better every time she plays."
