Finn competed in the Freestyle Slopestyle at his first Olympic Games in PyeongChang 2018, aged 18 years. 

Wanaka freeskier Finn Bilous had been the flag bearer for the New Zealand Winter Youth Olympic team which competed at Lillehammer 2016. At this event, Finn won New Zealand's first ever Winter Youth Olympic Games medal with a silver in the halfpipe and then backed this up with bronze in the slopestyle. The achievement saw him named as a finalist for the Emerging Talent award at the 2017 Halberg Awards.
