Gilt-edged prospect since he emerged on the scene as a junior rider, winning two medals at 16 years in the junior world championships before returning the following year to win four medals - three silvers and a bronze - when the championships were staged at Invercargill.

Kennett had some time out of the squad, returning to quickly re-emerge as a key component. He is a talented road rider, second in the young rider category at the An Post RAS Tour of Ireland in 2016.
