Douglas Lloyd

17-year-old Douglas will be representing New Zealand in Wrestling at the 2014 Summer Youth Olympic Games. He is a student at Dilworth School in Auckland where he competes for the Dilworth Grizzlies team. Douglas began competing in 2012 and so far his sporting highlight is winning the 2013 Downunder International Wrestling Championships. Douglas' role models are Mahe Drysdale, Jordan Borroughs, John Smith and his coaches Scott Boness and Iain Adamson. His favourite quote is, “I am all that I am but yet I'm not all that I can be.”
