Cory is an explosive runner whose speed and quick decision-making skills suit the Sevens game. A newcomer to the New Zealand side, he came to the fore in his debut at the 2006 New Zealand International Sevens tournament in Wellington. The former Wellington age-grade player has played nine games for Hawke's Bay in the NPC in 2004.
