Tokyo 2020 will be Camille's first Olympic Games.
She represented New Zealand at the 2017 World Championships in both the 5000m and 10,000m, finishing 30th in the 10,000m. In 2015, she won silver at the World University Games in South Korea.
She also represented New Zealand at the 2007 World Youth Championships and the 2008 Commonwealth Youth Games.
Her personal best in the 10,000m is 31:13.21 and in her best in the 5000m is 14:58.59 – both achieved at the 2019 World Championships in Doha.
In 2016, she won the prestigious Zatopek:10 in Australia in the 10,000m.
She races for the Hamilton City Hawks and is coached by Nic Bideau.
She is engaged to a fellow Kiwi athlete, 400m hurdles national record holder Cameron French.
