Australian based Blake originally comes from Stokes Valley, Wellington.

With a slow-burning 19 year career behind him, Blake first hit national headlines following his gold medal win in the World Championship fours team right on the back of a World Championship Triples bronze medal both in 2016. His success continued into 2017 winning bronze in the Triples at the 2017 Eight Nations at Broadbeach on the Gold Coast.

Away from Bowls, Blake's life revolves around his family including two daughters Lily and Bella.
